Calibration of TSP, CO, size and nicotine verses number of cigarettes and flow rate is offered for each system manufactured.

Calibration is provided for each chamber starting with the highest concentration, using ten cigarettes at the minimum flow rate, down to one cigarette. Filter samples are taken from each chamber for determining TSP, using a timed sampling unit and gas volume meter. Carbon monoxide is monitored with detector calibrated with carbon monoxide gas standards.

Size is measured using a Differential mobility particle analyzer for each test point. Samples are taken with adsorption tubes for nicotine determination.
